static motion came into being during the final moments of university during the production of its the first comic in 2001. Since then static motion and its founder, Olu Oke have grown up, reinvented themselves and ultimately survived the world of Illustration.

static motion specialises in narrative illustration for comics, editorials and stories. Given the right creative incentive, static motion can and does turn its hands to anything.

The quest for work that is stimulating, challenging and socially relevant continues, as does the honing of the art of telling stories through images.

When not drawing, static motion can be found in various theatres in London, and in her local cinemas' projecting booth.
